Does anyone know what these flow meter are made of? I've found several flow meters but when I look at the material they are made of they are not food safe.

it's plastic, there was a link to a sketch which said "Tested and works great with the Adafruit plastic and brass meters" this looks plastic and is for water up to 170
I believe that is a branded digiten fl-408 http://digit-en.com/goods/show-433.html
All info I've found indicates the wetted surfaces are all plastic, but I've never determined what type(s) of plastic.
I do not believe that Digiten or Adafruit have spent the money to get the meter certified as food safe.
That said a lot of those meters have been used with Kegbot and other beer metering systems...

If it is an unknown plastic than I will keep looking. Although it most likely is fine I do not want to be the guy who ended up on the crapper because it grew the funk.
