i plan to use a keg as a still and also to build beer , what sort of info could someone offer, anything will help ,ive been doing a few weeks worth of research and from what i can see there are some conflicting ideas as far as cutting the keg,the only issue i can see is , how do i clean and sanitize if i dont?

My advice is get some rest. You've been researching too hard and you are no longer able to convey sense. This is normal. If you choose to continue with this 'hobby' please note that you will increasingly make less sense until you one day shall wake from your filthy bed a primate--an ape of your choosing, but perhaps even a monkey of random appointment. Good luck with your first brew!

though i appriceate the humor ,exspecialy since i have recently grown an increasing amount of body hair ,was wondering is there any knowlage to be passed?i am totaly new to the brewing world and feel very passionate and excited to get started but do not want to do any unessecary steps, time is valuable. and along my travles ,ive stumbled upon this forum and im in hopes of finding the "yoda" of brewing.anyone? anyone?bueller? anyone? and thank you for your time.

is there a thread for this already and if so could someone direct me?looking to get started. are there any cleaning tools or agents for washing the inside of a sankey.and could someone derect me towards a good gearys winter ale recipe or something similar or should i try something different for my first time, what do you suggest? thanks

There are plenty of hardware vendors listed in the vendor section. Read the vendor reviews section too. For making a still, since that is 100% ILLEGAL in the US and this is a site based in the US, you'll get no help here.

just for the record my still is to produce essetial oils, and does anyone have a good recipe for a first timer? ive been polluting myself unknowingly for years with a flavorless beer from a blue can, when one evening i drank a bel haven and was hooked on the enormous flavor it had,i was like the rat in the movie "ratatoulie" and then tried pumpkinhead ale and have gone threw a dozen other micro brews since and cant seem to go back to the other stuff regardless of the cost difference, and now im hooked on brewing my own. i joined this site in hopes to find all the info i would need and so far it seems endless and ive always said you cant beat exsperience.so i ask anyone with the patience and willingness to offer theyre wisdom and guidance to bring it on.i know absolutly nothing about brewing, ive read a pile of postes and the language is all foreign to me so please bare with me cause ive got alot of questions. thanks
