Keg Balancing.

12# co2, 40 deg., on a 3/16 line should have a line about 4 '

Currently my lines are about 6.5 feet @12#and the pour is a little foamy. Not that the beer is over carbonated just a foamy pour.

My question is that if I go with 4' lines won't that make the pour more foamy?

I use 5-6 ft., 10psi, and have had no problem with foaming. You will get some responses for shorter line, and much shorter line (2in.) with reports of no foaming problems.

Yes it will.... I had this problem with my kegarator. I ended up with 10 ft. of beer line between my kegs & the taps. @ 12PSI, 40F, which is perfect for my carbonation I can dispense beer without foam at a nice pace.
