I have officially started the process of turning my wifes formal living room into a game room. Part of that transformation is going to involve a keezer. What I had in mind was a modification of the one "notrealdan" did.

What I like about this is the enclosed taps. My thoughts were to take a similar design and add a collar to a freezer so I can fit cornys on the hump but have my taps & Co2 & Nitrogen in a cabinet next to the keezer. I would like to be able to have 4-6 kegs in the smallest freezer possible. I have a 20# Co2 tank and a 20 cf nitrogen tank. I also want to incorporate a keypad electronic lock for the door to the taps. I have children and would like to secure the system from them or friends. That is also why I want the whole unit enclosed. Has any one built something along these lines? if so can you post a pic or two? Thanks for all your help.

Where did Mendenhall come from? I ask because I live on a Mendenhall road, which is part of an old land-grant to the Mendenhall family back in the 1860s. The last of the family sold and moved elsewhere last year.

Can't help you on the design, mine are very different.

Mendenhall is my last name. I was born and raised in Lancaster county PA. I had never met another Mendenhall that I was not related to untill 3 weeks ago. A server/bartender at one of my customers shares the last name Mendenhall. Also my local home brew store has a rewards program that uses your last name to look up. Surprisingly there is another Mendenhall on their list.
