Hey guys, my keezer has been running for about a week now, I am using the STC-100 controller with all settings that were recommended somewhere on this forum. The freezer thermostat itself is set to the coldest. The problem is that it goes on for about 5 mins, gets down to the temp and then cycles again for 5 mins in about 15 mins. My question is that I am wondering if that will hurt the compressor or not.
Thanks
Charlie

10 to 15 minutes of "off" time is plenty to allow pressures to equalize, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Now, when the kegs inside of said keezer go empty - THAT is something to be concerned about!

That does seem a but excessive. What is your differential set to? If it's only 1 degree I would set it for 4 degrees. It's much better for it to run longer and cycle less frequently.

A. It's not a problem.
B. JR's idea on the differential is worth checking.
C. The less fluid in the kegs, the more the temperature will fluctuate.
