There is a chest freezer available for me to use and the only things I know about it are the dimensions (which I figure is the most important). Here you go, inside dimensions are 16.5" deep x 26" wide x 29" high with an indent in the corner for the compressor. Outside dimensions are 31.5" x 21.75". I cut out some cardboard in the size of cornys and it looks like 4 will fit with room on the indent for co2...
My question is, how big does my collar need to be? I know it should be big enough to drill for taps but cornys are only 25" tall and if the freezer is 29" + 4" for the collar, this should be plenty of room right?
I am considering this my official keezer build thread and will post pictures when I get them. I am planning a basic build using the ebay controller and starting off with picnic taps because I can't afford perlicks yet. I'll probably start with one perlick and get one a month until I have four.
Anyway, I'm counting on you guys to keep me honest and get this thing done! It needs to be done before April 4, 2012 but I don't think it will take more than three weeks.
