Decided Friday night I was going to improve my beer dispensing setup... Two days later and a replacement drip tray on the way this is what I have.
Thanks to some of you for the ideas and pictures of your set ups.

Unpainted without the trip and molding.

I want to make it stand out a little more but i'm not sure what i'm going to change/improve. Once the bank account recovers I'm going to make a front and sides to finish it up.

snap hinges used for kitchen cabinets, only problem is that my wood is warped.... looks like i'm going to have to screw it shut.

Trim is a miracle worker, i think the next step is to sand down some spots so the wood shows and slap some clear coat over it.... make it look old. What do you think?

I personally hate the distressed look. Unless you're a 40 year old woman going for that Americana look......or happened to be married to one :D

I think it looks nice the way it is.

Looks good.
If you want to make it stand out a little more I would paint the trim and the very top a different color. Or even just the trip in a darker color would work as well.

Nice one, staining the wood and slapping down something classy for the bar top was my goal but the bank account decided to go with plywood and pine with some paint...
