I'm debating on getting a two tap kegerator based from the Edgestar KC2000 or perhaps save some money and use a 5.0 cu ft. Freezer and build a keezer.
My requirement is to hold 2 homebrew corney kegs, a 5# CO2 tank, and a dual pressure regulator.
I've seen many keezers that have a collar built around them, however I would prefer to modify the lid and put a two tap tower on it instead.
Does anybody have experience or have done this? If so, what recommendations on a freezer to buy and installation tips would you suggest? Will the freezer completely close to accommodate the tower?
