Aside from the large pot and bottles?

I was originally going to go with MidWest supplies, but they charged about 30 dollars in shipping so I went with morebeer which was the same price and free shipping.

This is what I got

http://morebeer.com/products/personal-home-brewery-kit-2-deluxe-1.html

Along with

http://morebeer.com/products/ipa-ii-bkg-bomb-extract-beer-kit.html

I noticed It doesn't come with Yeast and a Grain bag. Would I be able to buy these at a local store? There are no microbrew places around me

You can get a grain bag at a hardware store, cleverly disguised as a "paint strainer". :D

You can't normally get ale yeast except at a homebrew store, though- so order some! Dry S05 yeast is fine. Get several packages, as you can store them in the fridge and sometimes you need them when the first yeast doesn't start or if something else happens.

If you didn't get an auto-siphon with your kit, I'd get one of those as well.

Thanks, my order hadn't shipped yet so I added the 3 bags of yeast and bought a grain bag.

I'm set for now right?

A wort chiller if you have it in the budget.

These are certainly nice to have (speed up the process), but a bathtub and ice packs aren't a bad substitute.

Don't forget that you will need something to put all of this amazing beer in.

Start saving those (non-twist off) bottles!

*Edit: reread your post so just kind of ignore the entire bottles part of this.....oops*

Everything has finally arrived. I was wondering what is the best guide to follow to brew my first IPA, should I just follow the brewing instructions that come with it? Or is there a better method that forums members have perfected?

Stick to the given instructions until you get the hang of the process then if you feel like experimenting a little go for it

Good luck with your brew! On a side note, I do free taste testing so feel free to send me a bottle of finished brew! :D

Looks like it comes with a hydrometer. I find my floating thermometer very usefull, especially with steeping or mashing as well as when chilling the wort.
A dual layer fine mesh strainer is quite handy too. I pour the chilled wort through it to strain out grain & hop gunk & the like. Less trub on bottling day means more beer for me! A lid to set on top of the bottling bucket will keep dust, pet hair, flies & the like out of the beer while bottling as well. And get some Starsan & PBW for sanitizing & cleaning. I saved some 1 gallon SunnyD jugs to store my PBW & Starsan in. A bottle tree & vinator will save time & space on bottling day as well.
