Hello this is just my opinion but I think Weyerbacher is probaly the nastiest beer I've ever tried. I tried 4 different brews and all resulted in being poured out, literally. First I tried their imperial pumpkin ale which I didn't like but my grandmother actually did, so she drank that, then their double dunkel had the weirdest nasty flavor in it that I've never had in any kind of beer. Third was a beer that i can't remember the name of but it was 13.5 percent alcohol, 13.5 is up there but this alcohol flavor was way way to hot, and once again a weird off flavor. Lastly today I tried thier heresy imperial stout, at 8 percent alcohol the alcohol was still way to hot, reminding me almost of doing a shot of liqour. I'm sure its probaly just me, does anyone actually like any of these beers? thanks for any info

Only beer I have had from them was their Double Simcoe IPA and I loved it. If I could get my hands on more styles I would like to try them.

I've liked the Heresy, Slam Dunkel and Double Simcoe. I've met a few people who hated the Double Simcoe. Taste is subjective though. They make rather extreme beers that don't appeal to a large group of people.

haven't tried the double simcoe yet, but the slam dunkel I just couldn't get into, the only dunkel I've ever drank was at the Hofbrau and it was awesome, Weyerbacher's Slam Dunkel didn't taste comparable in any way at all for being in the same style as the Hofbrau beer. Thanks for the input though, I guess this brewery is just not for me
