Is my copy of The complete joy of homebrewing. I burned thru about 1/4 of the book last night. WOW great book. Very informative and you gotta love the history in this thing also. Just want to say thanks for all of those who recommend this book very much worth it.

Yep...it's a quick, entertaining read. It's a good intro book to brewing. It's a light read that doesn't make brewing seem to imposing. When you are ready to get into something a little more technical, I would recommend How to Brew by John Palmer.

I am gonna stick with extract and partial mash for a while until I get some of the bugs worked out of my process. But then all Grain is gonna happen. LOL I love brewing its fun and my friends think its amazing. But always good to read up on what the future holds.

I picked up a copy of this at a used book store. great read. thought it would be just a little more in depth with all grain but I learned some stuff. how to brew is my next read. I was entertained by the story of how lite beer came around. stupid prohibition.

Prohibition really messed this country up as far as beer goes. But god bless Jimmy Carter for making home brewing legal again. But I remember My Father and my Uncle making beer when I was a kid. and this is the very early 70s. 71 - 72 something like that.
