I Started Off With A Mr Beer 2.5 Gal Fermenter, Brewed A Few Batches, They Turned Out Great. I Just Got My Deluxe Brewing Kit Today. 2 6.5 Gal Glass Carboys A 6 Gal Bottling Bucket And All The Other Equipment Needed. I Also Ordered A Belgium Bock I Will Be Making For My First Try. It Will Be My First Attempt At A Partial Grain Brew. Any Tips I Should Follow?

I have to say, I've seen the MR. Beer kits slagged of a couple of times.

I think they are great, the main reason is If people had to plunge staright in to 5g batches and buy all the stuff at once, then I think there'd be a lot less brewers.
It give people a chance to see how easy it is and what good results you can get .

What's your first brew going to be in the new kit?

Good to hear you are diving in.

One minor request: could you drop the capitalization of every word? It makes it much harder to read what you have to say. I really do want to read what you have to say-- I just find that formatting discourages me from trying.

Tip regarding using specialty grains: When you go to steep them, use hot, but not boiling water. You'll want something in the 140 - 170 degree range. This is assuming they're all carmalized / roasted malts.

lol I was going to say the same thing.

Just make sure your sanitation is thorough. Don't half-ass anything - the first few batches the temptation is there but you have to really be anal about it - and don't forget to clean your equipment really well after everything's done! Sorry if it sounds like I'm lecturing, and I'm sure you already know all this, just trying to reinforce the concept.

I'm sure your bock will turn out great - and one last thing, remember to have some homebrew while you're hard @ work!
