.. As the title suggests, I was gifted a VERY heavy duty (like 1/4" wall thickness) aluminum 20 gallon brew pot. It has a built in drain. It needs a good scrub, but otherwise is awesome.
I'm a stovetop brewer, and right now I'm just doing extract batches. I have (3) 6.5 gallon fermenters and (2) 5 gallon fermenters.
I'd like to see if I can do larger batches with this huge pot - maybe fill all (3) of the 6.5 gallon fermenters at once (total 15 gallons).
I'm guessing I need to upgrade to a big propane cooker and brew outdoors to make this work.
I'm wondering what size cooker I need, and how do I make sure the whole thing doesn't tip over - the pot itself is really heavy, and I'm sure 15+ gallons of hot wort will be insane too.
