Just finished my 6 tap coffin keezer, full build photos

Over the last month or so I built my showpiece 6 tap keezer kegerator. For those of you who follow the kegerator builds on HBF you will see that I blatantly stole many of the designs that other members have posted, so credit goes to many of you. Thank you sirs and madams!

This is the finished product. Made from a 14.7 cf Frigidaire Freezer.

Original freezer and building the framing. I used some old 2X4's that I had left over from a kitchen remodel. Also, the tile that is on the front is left over from the same project. So my kegerator matches my kitchen. I sell kegerator parts on Amazon and ebay so most of the hardware I already had in stock that I got wholesale.

Here I'm starting the coffin box. I insulated it with thick packing foam from Lowes and built a foam path to enclose the beer tubing into. I installed a small axial fan to blow cold air from the freezer into the coffin to keep everything nice and cold.

I formed the holes using Great Stuff to maintain a smooth air flow. All tubing goes into one hole, air is blown up into the other.
I used some nice laminate flooring that was on clearance at Lowes. Someone ordered too much so I got it half price.

Also, more progress with the wood siding. For the air venting, I placed a black vent in the siding over the existing freezer vent to allow it to breathe. Also there is a good 2" of air space between the freezer and the framing.

Just finished up the tile for the backsplash. I used a strip of LED lights for the tap backsplash, led through the top and across the front of the lid to illuminate the front base also. It's controlled using a dimmer toggle.

what did you use to hide the edges of the flooring? kinda hard to tell from the pics..

Thanks for the kind words.
I used an edging I also got a lowes that pretty much matches. It wasn't meant to go with this flooring, but looking at it on the keezer, it looks like it belongs. It's essentially a hard foam with wood laminate. The very edges could have turned out better, they're not perfect. Excuse the messy surfaces, just got the tile done and not totally clean yet in the pics...
A lot of people use tile on top, which makes sense as it's more waterproof than wood flooring but it's really heavy. Flooring isn't 'light' but not nearly as heavy as tile.
And also, here's the grate. I bought a white one and just spray painted it black.

Looking good. I was also thinking of flooring as a covering.
