So I wanted to post something that newbies to kegging could look at and vets could add to.
Started with a Kenmore freezer from Sears, got it financed with no interest for 6 months. $402.
Added a wood collar, just 2x4s with a coat of primer (had some left over spray killz) and a coat of white appliance paint, I liquid nailed it down and put a bead of white bathroom/window caulk on the gap. (Crappy 2 dollar 2x4s)

Before the caulk (sorry about upside down pic, will fix later.)

After caulk
I tapped into the existing thermostat and used a stc-1000 to control temp.

I insulated the collar with this, not sure what to call it, like bubble rap with shielding on both sides and a bead of clear caulk.

Side nob does nothing.
I used SS shanks from keg connection (got all of my stuff from KC, highly recommend) as well as SS krome faucets.
I have a house reg and 4 way manifold with gas lines and beer lines.
Will post some finished pictures tomorrow, please contact me if you have any specific questions and please feel free to point out things I can improve upon.
Cheers
