So, born, raised, still am just south of San Francisco with what appears to be a classic story I'll give in short... Man drinks beer... Man shows interest in making beer... Man gets Mr. Beer... Well that didn't last long, mere days actually. surfing cl, found a overly complete kit for free. Well had to drive a distance, but got all I need (for now, don't even want to ponder ag yet.)
Went and visited sf brewcraft and found they hold a free class on Monday's. I even got my wife to go (still can't believe it) learned all I needed to handle my first brew. While some info i learned seems to be discouraged here, the one piece of advice I got was follow one set of directions. At least for the beginning. So far so good. Bottle on Sunday (3 weeks) so I thieved a sample today and am pleasantly surprised (west coast pale ale) next im not sure what to do. I have 2 6.5 fermenters, and a 5 gal better bottle. So a rotation will be soon to come. Also thinking about this years ago while remodeling a bar, I grabbed the perlick 2 tap set up complete from sankey couplers on up. So a keezer is in my near future, pending employment!
Sad part about this forum, is there doesn't seem to be much left to ask! Shy of asking the search bar, I've yet to find a unanswered question...
Here's a q... What should I brew next? Any ipa recipes to recommend? Partial mash preferred!
