Join two batches in the same fermentor?

I can only do 14 liters each batch but i have a 50 liters fermentor.

What if i do one batch today, put it in the fermentor, and tomorrow do another batch and put it in the same fermentor.

Obviously the same recipe used in both batches.

Is that possible?

thats what I was thinking but getting things rolling right away would diminish the risk of infection wouldn't it?

Yes, yeast in the 2nd batch.. that would join the first batch in a maximum of 24h.

Not sure if it will damage my final result..

After thinking about it, I would pitch the yeast in the first batch.. then add the second during active fermentation...kinda like a HUGE starter.
I am probably wrong but someone will correct me if I am

Seems dangerous! eheh I think i'll remain on my first idea. I'll just try to make 2 batches in 1 day to reduce the delay time. Better be saturday

If you brew 1 batch, then pitch the yeast, then brew a second batch and add it, you will likely be short of yeast. The yeast will reproduce in the first batch to get the correct concentration, and will be done reproducing when you add the second batch.

Not sure what you are doing, but could you just make a stronger wort for the boil, and add make-up water to the fermenter. That way you could get done in one go.
