The fact they don't open until 4:00 on Friday is really wrecking me. I just assumed I could hit them much earlier that day as its my most open. Friday day drinking should be a universal fact of life dammit.
Welcome to 90% of our bitching. The other 10% involves the "parking lot" and rain. ;)

Nah but 4PM makes sense. Lots of people come after work. If AL drops, I'll try to be around 3:30.

Noobs go for the bottle tent and wait in line. Ignore them and head for the taproom. Drink everything you want. It's totally kosher to ask for 2-3 pours of something unless it's specifically stated as limited. Grab bottles when the line thins out or as you're leaving. Trust me when i say it's a hassle to lug bottles around if you have no one to watch them

Hope to see you there!

I will also be making a JK appearance this weekend and potentially interested in any ride shares out there as well, if available!@Hopping Tiger what conference are you in town for? I am also en route to Austin for a conference. I fly out Saturday so Friday will be the day for me.

I'm in for a rare disease research conference. FPWR is our group.

Definitely would like to meet as many of y'all as I can.

I can touch Sacchs for rides no prob. Expect I will be with my wife which might make it weird for you guys.

Now I am not sure if I will be out there Friday or Saturday. I'm in town for a conference and I'm not sure which day is going to work better. Also a rental car is starting to become possible due to our other commitments.

Ballsy.

So sad I'm gonna miss seeing BusinessSloth and Compton25 this weekend.

... but GABF tho. ;)

Katherine will be in town if you guys wanna hang out with her. She's much cooler than me anyways.

Also... 2 miles from Downtown on S. Congress? Do we live like 2 blocks away from each other now, Touch_My_BrettSacch? I'm 2 miles south of downtown on S. First Street (3200 block).
I think so lutts. Chelsea and I just bought a place right off Congress.

So who all is going to be there tomorrow?

If you are, come find me. I hate sitting by myself. I'll likely be wearing some sort of sloth or talkbeer shirt, and will be camping out at Stanley's seating until that beast sun goes down. Then I'll probably move up the hill. I just want to get sloppy drunk. If we do another bottle share (not necessarily at JK), I have 2 really fun things to bring.

I will be there tomorrow just still trying to figure out how I'm getting there. They should be announcing a release or at least the weekend menu soon right?

Why would you assume they want to keep the crowds small? IF the beer is ready I see no reason not to release it, now if the beer just isn't ready that's another story.

Anyone going today that could give me a ride back to downtown? Plan on ubering there, just hearing it may be hard to get an uber back.

Thanks!

What time you planning on leaving back to downtown? Might be able to.

And for anyone wondering, I am wearing a black t-shirt w/ 3-sloth moon and have a shaved head. It's hard to miss me. Come say hi! I won't bite.....hard ;)

Have no plans, so whenever! Trying to head there around 4
ah ok. Well I might be able to do that. I'm not really sure what time I'm leaving but I am definitely not hanging around for dinner at Stanleys. Might run over to Pieous or Ramen Tat Suya around 7 or 8PM.

Unfortunately I decided to bail. Surge pricing, 50 minute drive, and the rain were all the factors. Last time I was here it rained there too, wanted to experience some picnic table chill and didn't seem likely.

Sorry slothy, wife's test took longer than expected just left houston not too long ago so heading straight to the lake
