Real Talk: Foudre is goddamned amazing.

Took a quick trip up this morning and am happy I did but I would have bought every remaining bottle of foudre. Over nocturn. Srs.

Was drinking Foudre and Nocturn side by side. As much as the fruit whalez was telling my mind Nocturn was supposed to be the star, my tongue wanted more Foudre

Thoughts on this batch of Nocturn?

The one I had last night was SUPER fruity and jammy. Very tasty but a bit too sweet for me right now. Can't wait for this to funk up over maybe 6 months to a year. Could be really amazing after some time.

Oh and Foudre is awesome...

Also: anyone else notice the new rock fill in the parking lot? They didn't grade it, but it still made a difference. My KIA no longer felt like it was going to snap in half going this past weekend, lol.

Got something I need to get off my chest.

I am guilty of getting back in line for Fen Tao and MVB b2 releases. No one forced or influenced me to do those things. I assume full responsibility for my ****** behavior. I just want to apologize to the beer/Austin community, but primarily to Jester King. I will not be engaging in such behavior moving forward. Hopefully, the majority of you (that I like) can accept my apology. I know that a few of you were aware, but didn't call me out on it because almost every single extra bottle I get goes out to regular trade partners all over the U.S.

While it doesn't excuse those 2 past actions, I'd like to offer a bottle of the latest Nocturn Chrysalis to any Texas local that has not had it, or was not able to make it to the release for whatever reason. Post that you didn't get any Nocturn, and I'll assign you a #, then run a random # generator to determine a winner.

I didn't get a chance to make it up for the Nocturn b2 release so count me in.
