Enjoy your trip! Try to stay dry, it'll be a muddy weekend.
Is the mud at the brewery that bad?

I'm headed there this afternoon and wondering if I need to make a pit stop at Walmart for boots or something.

You don't need boots. Unless you're wearing sandals.

Even if you have a nice car that you don't want to get dirty with mud (in which case you shouldn't even be driving it to Jester King). I specifically neglect to wash my vehicle when I know I'm headed to Jester King. All the bugs dying on my windshield during the drive there, and dust/dirt/rocks kicked up by the gravel/pothole parking lot at JK.

Had a great time at JK yesterday. The weather cleared by the time they opened. I even spotted some beer celebrities.

The latest batch of Boxer's is the best I've had. Also, surprisingly favored Black Metal over Funk Metal in the side-by-side, more complex roastiness and balance. The beet beer is pretty and very easy to drink.

It was damn beautiful yesterday!
Didn't look like there was much of a line at any time, and about a half hour after opening we walked over from our table to grab shirts because nobody was there.

That Boxers was fantastic (as were all of the new releases).

Not much mud, really nice people, and an amazing place. Affirmed the intelligence of our decision to go back today. Y'all are lucky.

Nobody said hello.

But did you get some Live Oak Berliner?

I assume this trip was your first step toward initiating distribution to Texas. I will be spreading this rumor regardless of veracity. We can do a kickstarter for your licensing fees.

Compton25 and myself will come say hello to you on August 29 when we fly up y'all's way. Looking forward to meeting you guys

Patiently waiting on an updated tasting room menu to see if I'm making a canonball run Monday. Might make one regardless for some good BBQ
But if there's a new release this weekend, it guarantees that it's gonna be a rainy memorial day weekend, which would suck.

Have you taken this into account?

I'm out of town tomorrow and Saturday. So help me god if this magically disappears before Sunday....

Also: 100% chance of rain.

That El Niño doe...

I'm gonna make an effort to get out there Sunday/Monday. Not sure that'll even be possible after 3-4" of rain...
