I felt a little old carrying my new big heavy stainless pot with 60# of wort in it yesterday.
And we used to sing Love Stinks as loud as we could. (It did)

And the good times are the best times
The bad times fade away
The good times are forever
But now, baby, the last time is today

Just one more night
There's no time for anymore
I'm gonna tell you something
That you've never heard before

Yea really....I remember jamming in the car to that song (Love Stinks) junior year of high school! Man where does the time go!

John

our deepest sympathies go to the family, friends and fans of John Warren Geils Jr.

not exactly a guitar hero of mine, but I'm definitely a fan. I dug the J Geils Band's combination of rock and roll, rhythm & blues, soul and doo-***...

right up until Freeze Frame. if I never hear either of those 2 singles off that album ever again, I'd be a happy man

but I could listen to this one over and over

RIP, J. Geils

I remember as a kid listening to one of his albums at my friend's house and his stepdad did not like the song, "Piss on the Wall", saying it was not appropriate for music. I thought it was funny.

J Geils, another musician from the soundtrack of my high school years is gone (their best stuff was done in the 70s). RIP, but Peter Woif is still putting out good music...

"Freeze Frame" was the unofficial theme song to my Hometown's AHL Hockey team the Rochester Americans (or Amerks). Grew up with that song.
