I've never seen this before

I thought this was interesting. It's been 48hrs since I pitched my yeast into a Scottish Ale. I'm using Wyeast 1728. As you can see there's a large yeast raft right at the top and the wort has been sucked up into my blowoff tube. It's percolating nicely, I've just never seen this before.

Is that tube too far into the carboy/wort?

It's just at the bottom of the neck of the carboy even though you can't see it.
