I am definitely hoping to attend some SEWAGE meetings. This one won't work out, but I WILL be able to come to some. Since you can't start for 5 hours, I'll have one now for you. No problem- that's just the kind of friend I am.

Just tried a Summit Oktoberfest from my fridge, a very good beer. A bit strong for the style, but I really enjoyed it. I'll be peaking at my American Nut Brown looking for fermentation to start this evening. Me and SWMBO also be heading out to dinner, trying a different place for ribs. A belated celebratory dinner for getting my job. I think when we get home we'll call our friends up down the street and see if they want to partake in some beer drinking.

I'm gonna be all by myself for a good while when I get home. SWMBO and kids are driving up to Kalamazoo. She said,"I'll be coming home late."

So it's gonna be a few of my wheat beers, and maybe Independence Day Stout!

I volunteered to switch shifts with one of the guys here at work so I won't be out until 9PM, beers start 15 minutes later when I get home.

Shaking up a Belgian Blonde I kegged and chilled last night
Splitting up a mongo starter I made two days ago for back-to-back Belgian Wits on Saturday and Sunday.
Bottling some hard cider out of my keg to make room for my next beer.
Shopping on line for a chest freezer.
Drinking up a few bottles and taking readings and sampling a few in the fermenters:

God I love my workshop.

Hanging out with our four kids... and while I'll feel like having a few by the end of the evening, I'll be too tired to lift a glass. :)

Dropped off the mower, had a Brown & a Bock with lunch, took a nap. Plan on walking the greys, feeding them, another pint or two, dinner. Order depends on when and how hard it rains. Right now, the sun is shining, the rain is pounding down and the greys are snoozing.

just finishing closing down the john deere dealership i have worked at for 14 years.

go to start at the store i have been assigned to that is an extra 30 minutes away tomorrow.

going to sample a few beers tonight to drown my sorrows...

Went to a great brewery for dinner, Upland brewery, and had an awsome beer there, called Ard Ri. It is basically an Imperial Irish Red, but man does it have some awsome hop charactor. One of the best bigger (9%) beers I have had in a long time, not too malty and not too bitter.

Also got the asst brewer to take us back and show us around the brewery. Talk to him about letting our Homebrew club set up and have a meeting and beer tasting in the brewery. Thought that was pretty cool.

Here is to a wonderful friday evening!

Prost!

I love Summit's Pale Ale. It might even be better than Sierra Nevada. Unfortunately, I can't get it in Oklahoma. It's a dang good beer, though.

Yeah, I am in Wisconsin right now and that is the first beer I went for.

Got a sixxer of that and the IPA. It is better on draft but still pretty good.
