First off welcome to the forum!
Where in Yooperland do you reside if you don't mind sharing? My homeland is Gladstone.

The Help fire is an impressive propane burner but for the price I would consider other offerings. It'll function just fine but so do many others on the market for a fraction of what Blichmann gets.

What size brew batches are you making? Is propane your only option? There's some good electric options too like induction for small batch brewing.

My system uses natural gas but I can brew fifteen gallon batches. I brew all grain ten gallon batches now.

It comes down to what you need and how much you want to invest. Amazon shows off many other options to get an idea. Visiting a home brew shop is a better option as you get to see a burner in person. Also check any local home brew clubs what club members like.

If you wanna stick with propane the blichman will last forever and at 200 bucks that's really not horrible for the quality you're getting.. I went electric like 6 or 7 years ago, I still use my blichmann for small batches... and things like seafood boils or crab steaming and whatnot.. it'll crank out some serious btu"s when you ask it to. I've had mine for over a decade, I don't think it was even called the hellfire back then but same burner.. it has spent a lot of time out in the elements also, cause I'm lazy sometimes, it has held up fine, I have no regrets in purchasing it.

I think the Hellfire is awesome. I can't imagine that there could be a portable propane burner that could put out more heat than this burner. It is also very adjustable for fine tuning the heating level. Mine is now about 5 years old and works like new. It isn't cheap but it would have cost me more than this to have a 220 volt outlet run to my brewing area.

I have the Edelmetall which is a slight notch below the Hellfire, however I converted my burner for natural gas which allows me to brew indoors.
