Seriously though, I've got a batch going vigorously that is filling the whole room with a sour vinigar smell, I know... Aceto Bacteria, but when I put my nose right over the airlock, it smells normal?
Either I don't have the rhino fart issue...or I've been seriously misinformed about Rhino farts.
I love everything about apfelwein...including the smell of its' ferment.
