Buy them all, leave Florida. You've got the better deal.

Just opened a Fantome Sur Lie I bought along with 11 others last year from Etre Gourmet. Not impressed at all... it tasted like a Heineken!

No Funking in this Fukking Bottle!
I would of settled for a massive smokey one or a gusher...
I'll gonna check the other 11 on their LOT #

I'm crossing my fingers...

The new batch of Chocolate that I sourced from beer30jax 's shelf in FL is pretty good. A little low on carb but not flat.

Awesome classic tome house funk nose (when warm) and the taste is tart/citrusy. I could not detect any signs of the listed chocolate addition but I swear the more I drank it I got a mild warming sensation from the peppers. Wife thought it smelled like burnt peanuts...

I regret only buying 1 bottle.

I will have to try this one again. My experience with the most recent batch was nothing like your experience. :)

Had a coffee ruby on Friday. It wasn't very bitter taste but it was delicious as all hell. Carb was great. The coffee was perfectly integrated and really stood out in the nose. At first the flavor seemed to be asking for a little acidity but as it warmed that feeling went away. One of the best tomes I have ever had... Maybe even one of the best beers period. Can't wait to get another.

danyP I think I love you.

I second these observations.

Inspiring me to open a bottle. I keep looking at the bottle in the fridge and putting it off.

I was just sitting here minding my own business when my 2013 Saison exploded - blowing out the cork, so I chucked it in the fridge for a couple of hours. Lost about 1/3 of the bottle.

Anyway, I picked this one up during the band aid era, wrap around label, and was holding to see what would happen with some time. I had this quite warm and the band aid was still there, but definitely decreasing from what I recall back in 2013.

This is bonkers. Crazy good.

Not what I was expecting at all. Will be buying all remaing bottles this week.

Describe? I read that it wasn't that good, according to dontdrinkbeer

I wish I'd read all the reports of Coffee Ruby being amazing before looking at it on a shelf in SD last weekend and not buying it.

Shelf turd in my city... Forgot the price though.

On Friday I had DMD or whatever Dany's Black IPA collab is called. It was not as terrible as I was anticipating. However, I could not see myself ever drinking a bottle solo and I have no interest in trying it again.

No typical tome qualities about it. All the malt and yeast characteristics were pillaged by black tar heroine and pine resin.

Dany, I love you but these IPA/Bitterness experiments can please go away.
