This is the first beer I've smelled that makes me think of weed right away, and not in a "dank bro I'm a dumbshit jock" kind of way, but in a "end of a weed-pipe and I wish there was more in the bowl", then grapefruit, banana, passionfruit.

Yes Dany. It's a beautiful color but is too bitter for my tastes. What type of yeast did you use? I ask because I didn't get any of your usual house characteristics from the beer.

Magic ghost is the first tea beer that I've had that doesn't over extract the tea into over extracted tanin city.

danyP may I ask how you used the tea? How did you get the colour and flavour? Not boiled?

Also - guess I've lucked out? Only bad bottle I've had was a smoky pisselnet. Saison(mult), Hiver(mult), Noel, Bon Bons, Dark White, Boo, perhaps more? have been interesting and pleasing!

Fantôme Chocolat and De Tous Les D'iâpes were excellent, Brise-Bonbons was decent, and Magic Ghost and Saison were pretty bad. 50/50 for me so far but so long as the good ones are as good as the ones I've had it's still amazing value for money.

The last Saison I had (newer label) was terrible. A little on the flat side, overly phenolic (like bad saison homebrew), and just...off.
