impossible to have directly the pics ....

there you go!

Is this Artist on Être the same as the on that made it to the states?

Dany, any Automne being made this year?

After further review of a lot of 2014 bottles, I would like to proclaim that Fantome is indeed "back"
was gonna post something similar to this yesterday while it was on my mind.

however, of the couple ive had im not impressed with the cracked black peppery notes and less fruited quality in some. also, not a fan of the increased bitterness. it seems to me like the beers now have a clearly defined and "different" yeast contribution whereas in the past it was not this way...i donno kinda hard to explain that classic fantome house character that i just dont get in the newer stuff...maybe it will appear in time?

I got to try sante 17 and 18. Sante 17 was a pretty crazy riff on something along the lines of ginger beer. Sante 18 was like a carbonated version of tart cranberry juice. Enjoyed them both but would bang multiple 18's before revisiting 17 if i had a choice in the matter.

Looking forward to sampling the new batches of blanche, dalmatienne, ete and chocolat hopefully sometime soon.

Speaking of chocolat, trxxpaxxs care to elaborate on the disappointing negative "rate" i happened to notice you gave?

Ooof. It was pretty brutal.

The bottle I had was very tart with big notes of rubber and antiseptic. You know the way a fresh band-aid smells when you open it? It tasted like that, but with an added lemon note. Mild spice/heat in the finish as the beer cleared off the palate. I haven't had many bad experiences with any of Dany's beers (all bottles of Hiver and Noel have all be solid), but this was definitely a poor outcome.

I have another bottle of Chocolat in the cellar, and even after my last experience, I'm not afraid to open it. I will report back again when I do.

Side note: Opened a Brise-BonBons last week and it was great. If anyone is keeping notes at home. Nothing crazy to report on that bottle. Just a solid, well made, beverage.
