Use it or not use it..... If you do use it what kind of recipes do you use it in and why?

I use it or its more industrialized clone whirfloc, on most of my brews. I don't use it on stouts and such, I don't see the point. But, it does help to coagulate some of the 'stuff' that makes your beer cloudy. Can't see a reason not to use it. It's cheap and effective.
