Hey guys/gals.

Just bought SWMBO one of these fancy iPads. Pretty cool gadget. Starting to realize this could be real helpful on brew days for additions and keeping notes all while not tether to my computer.

What software, if any, would you guys recommend for an iPad?

I've been using brewsmith on my comp forever and I really like that software so I was initially gonna get that but then I saw there are many more options in the App Store. I like the idea of being able to sync my recipes since I formulate them on my comp.

I think there is one called brewmaster that I was reading about in this area too so that really interested me.

From what I have read they all have their own little quirks, but I would love some input from ya'll.

Yeah you can. That's why I'm leaning towards that.

Just wondering if another one would be even better than BS

I use brewer's friend for desktop but haven't tried it on mobile yet.

That would be worth a look.

I have beersmith also (desktop) but am really starting to prefer brewer's friend for the great water functions and storing all of the recipes on the cloud without additional charges.

Yoop, I know you don't like the ez water calculator too much, does brewers friend have a better water calculator than that?

That right there might convince me!

I've only used Brewers Friend for a couple of recipes but the website looks the same on my desktop compared to the iPad (through the Safari browser)

I really like working the recipe on the desk top and then pulling it up on the iPad on brew days. My .02 cents
