Hey Guys,

Brewed my IPA today and messed up the volumes. I brewed 15 gal instead of 13 which brought my SG to 1.054. Should have been 1.062.

Other than guidelines, and no longer being a true IPA, I'm thinking about the dry hops. Thoughts on adding them, or omitting them? I'm leaning towards leaving them out and drinking this as a stronger Pale Ale...

Thoughts?

Wow. Just wow that is a needlessly busy hop bill. Using multiple kinds of hops at 60min is pointless. You won't taste any of it. Also I've found that 45 and 30 min addition are entirely a waste of hops. Save them for flameout and a large hop stand

That being said more hops in an iPa is always good. It'll be a session ipa

IMO that's really not much hops for a 15 gallon batch. 7 oz total, from my back-of-the-envelope calculation?
I think I've used that amount for a 5 gallon batch.
IN any case, I would move the 45 and 30 additions to either 5 min or flame out.
I would also think about the varietals used - IIRC (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) Warrior especially is mostly a bittering hop, it doesn't have a huge flavor / aroma.
I personally like the piney-ness of simcoe, but others may not.

didnt even realize the batch size was that large. I wouldn't even make 5gallons of IPA if I only had 7oz of hops....
