Iodine testi AG mash

In AG mashing I see it stated to take an iodine test to check protein conversion in the mash. What type of iodine is used?

I use undiluted iodophor

iodophor works really well. Just remember, it doesn't take much!

yeah, idophor - and just a drop or two is all you need. I test by putting a splash of wort into a shot glass and putting in maybe two drops of idophor. I'm sure you can pick up a bottle of iodine at walmart for cheap - sold near the bandaids and rubbing alcohol.
