So I finally got my keggles polished and all the holes drilled and all the SS bits and pieces installed.

What do you guys recommend doing for a first cleaning/degreasing? You know with all the cutting oil, metal filings, polishing dust etc. I sprayed them all out but I imagine I should run some sort of cleaner thru them before brewing the first time?

Recommendations?

Soap and water should cut the grease ... Bar Keeper's Friend is a good choice, too, but may scratch your polished finish ...

On the commercial scale with new unitanks and bbts I use Simple Green in CIP followed by a standard cleaning cycle. Should work perfect for your use.
