This does not look like an infection to me but just wondering. It is on Bell's May 2012 Cream Ale brew. Brewed on 6-2-12 and fermented at 62 degrees. Was thinking of bottling it this weekend as it says it is done.

Thoughts?

Just the remains of krausen.

But what do you mean by "it says it's done?" Do you mean your hydromter? Because two consequetive grav readings over a 3 day period is the only way to tell.

Yes I have taklen the gravity readings. I will take again on Saturday before I start the bottling process as I may not need to set up if it is still moving. Tasted darn good when I checked it last night though.

homebrewdad I did leave the lid on. I just took it off to take the picture and grab a sample to test the gravity. Glad it is nothing bad.

I had a think layer left even though my hydrometer said I was done fermenting. I left it go another week and it cleared up for bottling.
