I am looking into the 1800w induction cooktops on amazon for boiling 6.5 gallons of wort (I plan to combine it with an electric element like the Allied Precision bucket heater to arrive at a boil).

Does anyone know which one of these cooktops that can support the weight of a 10 gallon kettle with 6.5 gallons of wort in it?

A blog post on Northern Brewer suggests that one of the common DuxTop models can support an 8 gallon kettle with 5 gallons of wort.

Has anyone tried a particular brand with 6.5 gallons of wort on it?

Regards,

I doesn't have to actually sit on the buyer to work so you could just make a stand that holds the weight and makes the bottom of the kettle very close to the element. Blocks if wood would work too.
