I'm making a Imperial Nut Brown for my Birthday and have some Windsor Ale yeast from my last batch. Has anyone made a nut brown using this yeast strain?

If these aren't a good combination, I may look at harvesting yeast from a commercial craft brown ale. Any recommendations.

Thanks in advance

I just made an imperial brown ale (same thing?) with 1.090 OG and I used WLP007 and it turned out wonderfully, 1.015 final gravity.

I would reccomend purchasing a nice strain of yeast and growing up a starter that way. I have been having these thoughts recently that wyeast 1098 (fullers london esb) woudl make a fantastic brown ale.

I have managed to harvest some yeast from Bell's Amber Ale. I'm going to step it up and go with it.
