Immersion/swamp combo ?

Is it feasible to run an immersion chiller through your boil kettle and have the cool water drain into a swamp cooler that the kettle is in ? Then drain the swamp cooler ? Is there an elevated contamination risk ? Is the water coming out of the immersion chiller too warm to make a difference ?

The water coming out of the immersion chiller will be hot first, if you can drain it elsewhere until it starts running cold, it could work, though cooler would fill up fairly quickly. As long as you put your lid partially on and cover rest of any opening around chiller with foil, you would be OK contamination wise. Just maybe sanitize the outside of ball valve afterwards.
