:rockin: Damn, I finally was able to complete my gravity fed All-Grain system...Came home Friday to see something very interesting in the mail. I go to night school after work and applied for this Home Depot scholarship months ago that I completely forgot about. Well, I got a $500 check for my schooling and a $500 gift card to Home Depot!!!! :ban::ban:

After getting my burner, propane tank a lot of other misc. equipment I needed I still have about $200 left over to put towards some sort of fermentation chamber. I never won anything in my freakin' life and I was sure I wouldn't be doing my first all grain batch for another long while but now I can get going in a week or two. :mug:

Should I make a ferm chamber from a mini fridge, a freezer, a window a/c unit or go the Son of Fermenter way. Oh, I also got some cool tools to help assist with DIY projects. Let me know any thoughts or opinions on this.

THANKS :ban::ban::ban:

Son of Fermentation Chamber and a Wort Chiller (if you don't have one) is what my recommendation would be... you would still have some money left over from that 200 bucks

Wow, congrats! and props to the home depot!

Definitely get the copper coil you need, and maybe a sump pump! Those can be extremely handy for cleaning and for high speed cold-water recirc for your new whirlpool immersion chiller :rockin:
