I watched Plant on ACL earlier this year and his singing was awful.

I grew up on Led Zep! To me they are the first Heavy Metal band. I still rock to "In the Evening"! So many great tunes from them. However, I would not pay hundreds of dollars to see them. I'll wait for the DVD!

All the late-20s, early-30s dudes who grew-up listening to them and learning their riffs, never really got to see them play together - until 'DVD' came out. It's practically like bringing Hendrix or SRV back from the grave for the younger crowd.
Whenever I meet an older rock enthusiast, my first question is always 'did you ever see Zepp?'

Ah man, the "How the West Was Won" DVD's are awesome. :rockin: The stuff from Earls Court is soooo very cool. I never got to see em'. I ordered tickets for the '80 tour dates in Chicago, and the day the ad in the Tribune came out for tickets was the day Bonzo died. Was a bummer day after school that day.

As for Jimi, the coolest thing I've seen is the documentary on "Band of Gypsys" Which has almost all of the Fillmore East New Years concert. It's superb.

As for SRV, he's my biggest regret. Had a chance to see him and blew it off. Years later I was visiting my mom in Germany when I read he died. I felt as bad then as I did when I read Bonzo died. Now all I have are videos. It's nice to see him on "Austin City Limits" sometimes tho. :rockin:

Jimmy Page is my hero. I actually have Zoso tattooed on my right arm and considered getting the Swansong logo tattoed across my whole back.

I definitely would want to catch them if they tour again. I've seen Robert Plant twice solo and Page/Plant when they had their Unledded tour

Not I. I listened to LZ from day one and emulated much of Bonzo's stuff (except for killing my self.) Geezer rockers are a sad lot IMO That said, it's your money-enjoy. I have a few friends who probably will go too.
