IF they do, I'm there, wherever is close. The reviews I read were awesome. And I checked out someone's footage of "Since I've Been Loving You" on youtube and it was smokin'... Now if only the 3 of them can get along... I'd be amazed if Jason wasn't up for it....

I am partially deaf in one ear (combination of rifle fire in the Army and front row at a concert), but I would give up the rest of my hearing in that ear to see Zep.

Every school in our area had a few current bands and one that was a bit older that were the favorites for most of us. For us, it was Rush, Supertramp, and Styx for the current bands and Zeppelin was the old stand by. Our big rival loved REO, Cheap Trick and the Stones. To this day, I still crank up Rush and Zeppelin and change stations when REO and the Stones come on. Old habits die hard...

But man, I hope you changed your mind about the Trick. ;) :rockin:

You gotta go before they die. Period. I don't know how long they've evaded the rock start short life curse. Rock On:rockin:

I was too young to see them in concert. I would pay $250.00 a piece for a ticket. That's about all I can afford for something like that. That is something that I couldn't miss. Once in a lifetime chance.:rockin:

Not really an issue. How often do you hear Cheap Trick on the radio?

Good point, my bad, and not very often thank God. A much better live band. :rockin:

20 million people registered to get tickets for 16,000 seats. It's gonna be tough to get them. When and where ever they go on sale i will try to get tickets. I don't care if there in Japan, i'm going..I've seen Page and Plant a couple of times and went to see The Black Crowes W/ J Page..They was awesome...I'd pay 2500 a ticket.Maybe more...Once in a lifetime.

As much as I love Led Zeppelin I would not pay to go see them now. If I was offered a time machine I'd be all over it but now the guys are just old. Robert Plant lost his voice somewhere in the 80's and it's not the caliber of how it used to be.
They will always be my all time favorite band and their music will continue to draw me to it.

I just dropped $100/ticket to see Springsteen, and that's about my limit. I'm a Zep freak, but Melana's right.

Now...the one band I might just pay more to see is Floyd. Even though I really dig the Sid-era stuff, I'd still pay a bunch to see them live today.

I thought plant sounded pretty damn good, he doesn't have the same improv skills he used to, but his tone sound good. I'd pay a ****load to see them (and I can't believe you paid $100 bucks for the boss, Evan. That dude is terrible *bring on the flogging)

<FLOG> Terrible? I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion, yours just happens to be wrong. :D Hell yeah, I've always wanted to see one his shows...I've heard they're great, and that he plays for like 2 and a half hours. And a friend's sister is one of his assistants and has this universal backstage pass that lets her and any of her friends backstage. w00t!

Actually, quite a bit here, b/c they're from the area. Just last night on the way home I heard "So Good To See You". But by and large, radio sucks anyway. Same bands and songs over & over. But that's another topic.

I heard JY from Styx last night in an interview. He said it was the best Zep show he had ever seen, and he'd seen them several times going back to the early '70s. He said back then, Page was usually too smootzed for his own good and the shows were...

I'd probably pay up to $300.00 a ticket, just to say I saw them. But that would be my limit.

I saw Flody during their Animals tour in the '70s in Munich at the Olympic Staduim. They also played all of DSOTM and WYWH. Tickets were about $12.00 each.

I can say without bias that Led Zeppelin is easily the greatest band of all time in the history of the world. Ever.

This fact cannot be disputed

Totally agree. Floyd is about the only band I'd pay over $250 a ticket for, but only if Gilmour and Waters are there. Hell, if Diamond Dave and Eddie Van Halen can set aside their differences, anything can happen...

Lost his voice??Not from the video's i've seen..Also, the reviews we excellent..
I like alot of bands, but this one started it all for me(and BlackSabbath). People and myself will pay thousands of dollars for tickets for a reason. Some of the best riffs and lyric's of all time.. This a can't miss event..IMO.I'll let you know how the shows were...:D

He can't hit the high notes anymore, but he's still got great pipes. Have you heard the Plant/Alison Krauss album that just came out?

I'm a live music junkie and travel far and wide for good music. Last summer I hit music festivals in Kansas, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Minnesota. I've always avoided Bonnaroo simply because it's too crowded (plus the weather is usually crappy and there's little to no shelter), but I'd brave unwashed masses for Zeppelin.

I *really* enjoyed the Plant and Page show I caught in '95.

I don't think I would go. I had tickets to see them twice and both times the concerts were cancelled:( . I should have kept the tickets for the tour when Bonham died, they would have been a nice collectors item

I caught the Page/Plant tour as well, along with Jimmy and The Firm, and Plant solo. It wasn't Led-Zeppelin.

To me, with Jason on the skins, and Jonesy laying it down, it's Zep. Maybe not the 70's rock star/groupie/heroin induced Zep, but it's Zep.

IF it happens, I'll be there. We've all been teased before tho. I'd like to eat my words however...

Agreed, however this is the best, full-on reunion they've done so far. Besides, These guys are sitting on a gold mine. All the late-20s, early-30s dudes who grew-up listening to them and learning their riffs, never really got to see them play together - until 'DVD' came out. It's practically like bringing Hendrix or SRV back from the grave for the younger crowd.

Whenever I meet an older rock enthusiast, my first question is always 'did you ever see Zepp?'
