Is idaphor a good remedy for sanatizing bottle caps or should something like star san be used.

Iodophor is fine for doing the caps. I'm a Star*San user myself (2 min contact time and no rinse) but the Iodine stuff works well too.

I would imagine, and if I had the choice between the 2 i would use starsan because its no rinse, but either will work just fine.

Iodophor is also a no rinse sanitizer. Follow the directions on the package for the proper dilution.

When bottling, I keep some of the iodophor that I use for sanitizing bottles and throw in the bottle caps. Then, just reach in and take out a cap, one by one, as I'm capping.
