Anyone use this before? Looks less powerful than ssbrewtechs chill but also 300$ cheaper

seems like the price point is a little awkward at half the power of the penguin and only $200 cheaper. I get it is cheaper but seems like if you're investing in a glycol chiller, probably makes sense to get the 1/2 HP variant, but thats just my two cents

Yeah I was just curious about it since I’ve never heard any feedback. I went with ssbrewtechs chiller for the same reason as you said. But for a lot of people chilling small amounts of beer that could work if the price was a little better

Yeah that’s definitely much cheaper. I just didn’t want to mess with ripping up an ac unit and ssbrewtechs does look really pretty. Plus it was all about space for me. The chiller takes up much less room than the fridge i had
