Ran water into my immersion chiller and the chiller was cold when I set it in kettle to sanitise with 10 min to go. Chiller dropped my wort to 115F. I removed my hop sock with the hops and I am heating wort back up to boiling and will reset clock for 10 min. reinsert hops.

Does this sound okay?

Why did you run water through the IC before putting it into the kettle??? Do what you must to finish the batch, but I wouldn't run water through it again before putting into the kettle.

Chances are, the batch will be a little (or maybe more than a little) different than if you hadn't needed to get it back up to a boil from 115F. At this point, you don't have much choice.

Funny thing. I took 2nd place with this in the American Ale category of the NHC first round at the Atlanta judging center
