wish me luck

Best of luck on your new brew, it seems like you're having a blast so far.

When creating new recipes one thing I like to do is craft it from scratch in a software program like BeerSmith without looking at any other recipes. I then go look up other recipes and see what they've done. If the ingredients I've chosen are very different from those chosen in other recipes, I try to figure out why they chose that route. It's a great way to keep your ideas original, meanwhile understanding ingredients better.

It's just a fun game I do when I'm bored, but I thought I'd mention it since you stated that you are creating a recipe.

you are well on your way to being a full fledged brewaholic and of course as a side effect you will be an alcoholic . You could go to brewers anonymous or AA but I would not recommend it as they will try and convince you that this is a bad thing . something about your liver , heart , fat gut blah blah blah . All lies made up by the fruit juice people .

I know how you feel. I brewed once a week for almost two years (with a bunch of different friends, so we split 5 gal batches). My only regret is that I didn't all grain brew sooner, I waited till my 20th or so. Sounds like your on the right track with your partial. Your gonna have fun with this "hobby".
