20 kegs and only 2 taps? I found your problem.

Build a bigger kegerator and buy more kegs. Then invite some people over!

Then you need to build something like this:

I like a good pipeline as much as the next guy, but damn..

THIS! :drunk: 20, 5 gallon kegs of beer just aging? By my calculations that's 100 gallons! What do you do with it all? If you are not selling it, do you just have parties every night? lol :p

Brew and dump. Repeat. You don't do this for the beer, do you?

i do it for the beer, but I really enjoy the recipe formulation and seeing what different ingredients and changes in process do to the final product.

I make great beer and I drink far to much. I have no plans to stop brewing, bu may have to go to once a month....

"Free growler refills" to your friends. I do that all the time when I've got overage. Only takes 10 growlers to kill a corny :D

I do the same when I want to get something new on tap and need to make space. Goodwill with my friends and coworkers, I've got people bringing me commercial beers (good ones) cuz they know I'll remember them when it comes time to decide who gets the next growler I fill. :ban:

I like to brew regularly too, so I make a lot of 1.25 gallon batches and bottle them. This gives you plenty of brews to give to frineds to try and enter in comps if you wish, and could keep you brewing almost as often as you wish. Once you start bottling again, you may find yourself brewing one week and bottling (a previous batch) the next.

That doesn't fix the underlying problem.

The underlying problem is underconsumption!

i agree - you need to focus more energy on your drinking. have you thought about drinking at work? if you are retired then you can set your "stumble time" goals earlier and earlier, until you find yourself on 2 day no sleep bender. Beer is very good in cereal. Do you drink and drive?- i would think, in north dakota, a lot of time may be lost behind the wheel. think of your life as a big bucket, and beer as a bunch of little rocks: if you dump all the little rocks in and throw the bigger rocks on top, they won't fit as nicely as if you put a few of the bigger rocks in and sprinkle the little ones in and repeat. i'm even less certain of what that means now, than i was when i first heard it- so i'm not sure if that helps. underage kids can help you diminish your supply...

This may be the single most usefull piece of advice I have ever recieved.

I have a similar problem. I've given up drinking during the week (trying to lose some weight), and have hit my limit. Last weekend I filled up all my remaining bottles; I have over 600 bottles and none are empty. I have 30 gallons of sour beer fermenting, plus 6 gallons of cider, 7 gallons of a Brett-Porter, and 7 gallons of ESB, all in fermenters, and on Saturday I plan on brewing a Dubbel and filling my last fermenter.

I'm going to have fun when I hit my weight target and better weather comes around.

man - you guys have the worst problems... would you ever consider trading home style lipo for beer? i mean, i've never done it before- but i've farted enough gas fumes from siphoning fuel and once drank brake fluid- how much worse could it be? or possibly consider hiring a proxy drinker? i've always dreamed of being a booze hound for hire...

Is your beer decent? I've never been to North Dakota, and it's one of the remaining 8 states I need to visit. :D :mug:

Dang right it's good. I currently have a vienna lager and an ipa with four base malts and cascade/calypso hops on tap (Pale, Vienna, Oats, Rye)...

You're going to have to go out and get yourself a smoker. After spending 12 hour days smoking pork butts, you'll find you may have an empty keg or two.

I have a big firebrick smoker under my pergola in the back yard......I can't wait for summer!
