Hey there fellow brewers,
looking for ideas for a fall/Autumny type ale that i can brew mid next week for an Oktoberfest, home brew party a friend of mine is hosting, the following styles are out, pumkin ale, and ESB. Any good suggestions are as always welcome,.

thanks-
Cheers,.

Well in that case, I usually prefer a little less hops than summer beers. Maybe a Dry Stout, or an Amber Ale. Otherwise, if you have the ability to cold-crash & keg, you could make some cider.

I'm working on a recipe for a t-giving inspired beer. Planning to incorporate some of the typical dinner table components (no turkey) but pumpkin, sweet potato, hints of traditional spices and possibly cranberries are all bouncing around in my head. We'll see what makes it on the page.
