Funny - I thought the same thing when I posted it. I racked a dry hopped IPA to a keg and poured the last liquid and some sludge into a glass. Let it settle in the fridge for an hour and tasted it. Really bitter and grassy. But then again there were still a lot of fine hop particles still floating in it. Just did it because I could!
Once you get that nasty stuff off the top you're gonna have yourself a wonderful beer
