After shipping and handling, I definitely paid a bit for it. It is what it is, though. I got their lacto blend too, so I attribute shipping costs to both batches.
I wanted to make some extra starter to pull some off for storage. Life had other plans. My toddler pulled my stirplate off the counter, luckily with nothing on it yet, but it broke. So, I had to order a new stirplate and didn't have enough time to propitiate extra before brewday. With the new stirplate and the Conan, the yeast cost for this batch was over $100, ugh!
Ferm Temp? - I pitched at 64, held at 65 for 2 days, then increased 1F/day, which I'll probably continue to do for a few more days, until it's 70ish.
