Oh man and so it starts. I got hit with about 10 chains and 3 chain saws to sharpen and get ready for the season.

This is going to hamper my drinking and brewing I fear and I got nothing in fermenter's going now at all.

Speaking of giant marshmallows my buddies wife told me today we are going camping this year. Last year I did not camp at all because of life getting in the way and my buddy and her are camping buddies and no is not a answer she will tolerate this year.

Sigh so I got a ton of work to do getting ready to roast some marshmallows

Heck yea it counts. I sell fire wood as kind of a reminder that I am not so young anymore so I have tons of wood that I can take up camping. Last night camping we get a FIRE going man and if you want to roast anything it better be on a 20 foot pole.

I do love to camp even though it takes a lot of beer to camp the way I do

You know, a big pressure canner makes a great pot to bottle pasteurize in. It also makes a good water bath canner.

Well, I just ate an orange so I don't think that's it. Probably the ammonia and bleach I'm using to soak some equipment. I'll open a window and see if that helps. :cross:

So my new roof materials arrived today, but it's raining, and more rain coming. Also the tree guy, he's a friend, came by. There are about 4 trees that need to be taken down before the new roof is installed, otherwise, could be pointless. So he says(the tree friend), you have done so much for my family, I got this, what??? He's doing it for free, but hubby promised to help him with any mechanical problems with his tractors or vehicles and I loaded up his trunk with potted herbs and vegetables. I got really upset a couple days ago, when that snake ate my chickens, but really, I have nothing to be upset about. Life is good.

We've been talking about this. We have searched dairies(he had been making cheese), mountainsides(in case he's still building the commune), and I even checked down by the river to see if maybe he took up fishing. No sign of him.
