Ok got my kegging set up, and kegs. I believe I have set it up right, but when I turn on co2 tank I just hear the hissing and one gauge goes up to almost 1000, but the other one stays at zero. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? Please and Thank You

The hissing should gradually get less and less and eventually go away after a minute or so. That is the sound of gas going through the regulator. If it does not you have a leak somewhere.

On mine that shuts it off. Tighten it (clockwise) and see what happens. Also if yours is a screw and has a nut on it, make sure the nut is all the way up to the head of the screw so that it doesn't stop you from turning it.

ok that you so much I tightened it and that gauge went up I just have it filled with sanitizer right now. I let it get to 20psi how long should it take till I can start pulling the solution out of the taps

It should start flowing immediately at 4 or 5 psi. Carbonating your beer is a whole different ball game. Many threads here on that subject though.

ok the gauge says 15psi, nothing flows out the tap and when i pull on the release valve nothing, WTH

Maybe the disconnects aren't seated completely on the post. A couple of my kegs are a little difficult and I have to push down hard with the palm of my hand. Make sure it's on the correct post first. If your not getting any gas in the keg check that one. And if you have a check valve make sure it is open (usually turn the handle so it's inline with the hose).

is your ball-lock gas and liquid line fully seated? On a few of my kegs you really have to force the ball-lock down to get it to seat. You should be able to hear the gas flowing into the keg with you first pressurize it.

Also, check your shut-off on the exit end of the regulator (if you have it). I have been known to forget to open this value before.
